Marenga has been a ham since 2006. He is an experient retired cargo captain and skipper. After retirement he enjoys amateur radio hobby and photography. He lives on Fernando de Noronha island now for over 30 years. He enjoys helping boats and vessels around the island. He also maintains daily VHF radio communication with the brazilian scientific bases in Rocas Atoll (PY0A – SA-038) and St. Peter & St. Paul Archipelago (PY0S – SA-014).

Renner is a civil engineer and lives in Recife – PE. Has been a ham since 2004 and the main activity on the air waves are chasing DX and eventually contesting. Renner was a member of former PW7T Contest group from Fortaleza – CE. Holds Honor Roll in mixed modes and a score of 2,400+ in DXCC Challenge. Also enjoy working IOTA been worked 500+ IOTA groups. Also have been active from many IOTA including SA-003, SA-023, SA-046, SA-060, SA-062, SA-080. He enjoys to operate both SSB and CW modes.

 

PP2BT – Julio

Julio is retired since November 30, 2017 after many years working with the operation and maintenance (O & M) of large hydroelectric plants and extra high voltage substations. Ham since 1978  in recent years has been active as an operator of the contest station of the Scout Group Caio Martins from Brasília capital of Brazil, PT2CM, since 2008.
Its main activity beyond the contest is to support novice operators in the learning and improvement of the CW operation, N1MM operational techniques also working with new contest teams like ZY2A and PR7CP as technical consultant.
